On Friday, April 11th at 9:00 a.m. at the Berea Library, the City of Berea and the SBDC at LCCC will host the first in a series of in-person Next Level Academy Workshops.

This kickoff workshop provides small business owners with the essential tools and strategies to build a high-performing team. Representatives from the SBDC will discuss:

• Hiring: Learn how to write compelling job descriptions, utilize effective recruiting methods, and create a seamless onboarding process.
• Retention: Discover strategies to gather valuable feedback, increase transparency, and foster impactful mentoring, professional development, and wellness programs.
• Culture: Explore the critical link between workplace culture and strategies to cultivate employee engagement and stability. Learn how to create purpose, implement recognition programs, and utilize culture surveys to build a thriving workplace.
