Social Distancing Scavenger Hunt

Want to get out of the house & have some fun but still adhere to social distancing guidelines? Join the Berea Chamber of Commerce for a Social Distancing Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, June 13th from 2-5pm! Explore Berea with your family while maintaining a safe distance from others. Most tasks can be completed without even leaving the car!

Cost: $18 Adults   I  $9 Children

• 3 hours of SAFE social distancing fun

• Delicious dinner to-go from Grindstone Tap House

• Chance to win prizes including gift cards and gift baskets!

The deadline to register is June 10th.

• All teams must meet in the parking lot of the Berea Library by 2pm on the day of the event. You will receive the list of clues and vouchers for your dinners.

• Each team should pick a team name and will post a selfie to the event page on Facebook. 

• Teams will have 3 hours to get as many points as they can!

• Clues on the list will be worth different amounts of points & some will be easier to find than others. 

• As you find/complete the items on the list, you will post the pictures in the comments section under your original post of your team selfie. 

• Each team should nominate one person in their car to post all of the photos (THE DRIVER SHOULD NOT BE TAKING/POSTING PHOTOS UNLESS THEY ARE PARKED AND IT IS SAFE TO DO SO.)

• Teams will also track their points and completed tasks on the sheet you receive at the start of the event. You will turn it in when you come to pick up your dinner.

When the event ends at 5pm, your team should head to Grindstone Tap House (826 Front St.) to pick up your dinner. Dinner must be picked up between 5:00-5:30pm. Volunteers wearing masks & gloves will safely bring your food to your car so no one has to get out. Dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, bread and a side salad. Children will receive a kids portion. Take it home & enjoy a night off from cooking!

**Please note that all tasks on the list of clues will be designed so that participants can safely complete them while maintaining a 6 foot distance from others. Most tasks can be completed from your car (i.e. taking a photo of something you'll have to find) so that anyone can participate. Some tasks will include visiting a business or doing something outdoors. Participants do not have to complete any tasks they are uncomfortable with and can participate entirely from inside their vehicle, if desired. For those that choose to participate in tasks requiring you to get out of the car, please adhere to social distancing requirements, wear a mask if indoors, and adhere to the specific requirements of each individual business.
