Please join us for the 57th Annual Grindstone Award Banquet to be held on Wednesday, September 10 at 6:00pm at The Aviator Event Center. The banquet will honor the Grindstone, Courtesy, Rising Star, Legacy, and Future Leader Award recipients.

The Grindstone Award is presented to a citizen who has dedicated extraordinary time, effort, and voluntary service toward programs, causes and organizations that make Berea a better place to live. Congratulations to the 2025 recipient, Susan Hans!

The Courtesy Award is presented to employees who work for organizations in the city of Berea that have gone above and beyond in their line of work to serve their customers and general public. The 2025 recipients will be announced soon!

The Rising Star Award is presented to a business owner who has started their business in the last five years and has already made a significant and positive impact on the community. Congratulations to the 2025 recipient, Bridge Street Local!

The Legacy Award is presented to a long-standing Berea business who has made a significant and positive impact on the community as a whole. Congratulations to the 2025 recipient, Polaris Career Center!

The Future Leader Award is presented to high school or college students who are excelling in both their areas of study as well as in their service to the greater community. We are excited to recognize them as the future leaders of our region. The 2025 recipients will be announced soon!

The banquet will feature a plated dinner. This event is open seating and seats/tables will be made available on a first come, first served basis at the start of the event.

Tickets are $65 and can be purchased online or by mailing a check along with the names and any dietary restrictions of guests to the Berea Chamber of Commerce at PO Box 774, Berea, OH 44017.
