Join the Berea Chamber of Commerce as we host a frighteningly fun walking tour around the city of Berea. Attendees will learn stories about ghosts, murders, accidents and hauntings as we tour some of the most notoriously haunted areas of our city.
Recorders for EVPs and cameras are welcome for those looking to spot paranormal activity!
New this year! We are excited to host The Original Ghost Whisperer and local paranormal investigator, Mary Ann Winkowski. Those interested in hearing from Mary Ann can arrive by 6pm to hear an hour long talk about her experiences and find out if any spirits may be tagging along with us on the tour.
Schedule of events:
- 6-7pm: Join us early for a talk from local paranormal investigator Mary Ann Winkowski and enjoy pizza, snacks and refreshments
- 7pm: Walking tour begins (tour will last just under 2 hours)
The meeting location for this event is at the American Legion Post 91. Additional details and parking information will be sent to registered attendees in advance.
The total amount of walking in this tour will be just under 2 miles.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Tickets include the tour, the talk with Mary Ann Winkowski, pizza, snacks and refreshments. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food to eat at the pavilion in advance of the tour, if desired.
The talk with Mary Ann will take place under a covered pavilion. HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT! NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER. Please plan accordingly and dress for the weather (ponchos, umbrellas, etc. are welcome if needed).
The tour will take place after dark. Guests are welcome to bring flashlights, lanterns, etc. Guests should use caution during this event and by registering, you agree to participate at your own risk.
*Please note: Some stories and information shared during this tour may not be suitable for children. Parents/guardians should use discretion in determining if they would like their child to attend. This will NOT be a "haunted house" style tour (i.e. no one will be jumping out to scare you!).
**The content of this tour will be similar to what was shared at the 2021 & 2022 events as a note for anyone who attended in previous years.
